Some people wonder what I am thinking about when my eyes are closed like this. The answer, I'm simply dreaming of things like this.
These are some recent doodles from my sketch books. I did not have my DSLR with me when taking these photos so they aren't the most wonderful quality ... and I have no idea how to get rid of time stamps.
I have been seeing a face in my dreams lately of a man with mangled up limbs. This isn't exactly what he looks like in the dreams but I wanted to portray the smokey/dreamy feeling I have when I think about "him". His name is Books.
I found this piece of wood in my backyard and have decided that his mangled limbs are due to a horrible Brick press accident.
This was an experimental cover for the new Howler album "For Your Own Sake". It never was finished and unfortunately we will not be using this piece. Fortunately, an amazing artist by the name of Marc O'Brien will be creating something wonderful for us to use. We are absolutely thrilled - so be sure to check out his work at: http://www.mobartist.com and Marc's blog: http://www.marcobrienart.blogspot.com
