To Town

For a Half Mask unit in drama, my class had to construct our own masks using clay and paper mache ( two of the funnest materials). This however, is not the finished product but just the base clay that was left over after I removed the paper layer. I got a bit bored with it so picked up a hammer and went to town - I cannot wait to see how the final mask turns out!

Colonel Mustard, with a candle stick!

Working at the local gallery definitely has it's perks! Perks such as getting to decorate tea lite candle holders for the upcoming auction. As soon as I found out the holder I would be decorating was made of wood, I knew the only thing to do was to burn into it. The design wraps around all sides of the block and was very easy to burn due to the soft Cedar wood.

GSS Improv 2010

This year, the Imrpov team that I am on needed a cartoon design for our tournament shirts. Every year the shirt represents each individual on the team differently ... basically it is all inside jokes from scenes we have done.

On the back you can find humbly nested in a gigantic Afro; a spicy pickle, crazy eyes, a dust bunny, a Christmas ornament, toes, a screaming army woman, and last but not least, a camel.
