If you've veeb following this blog you may recognize the lady in the recent hand bill I have created for The Kindest Man. Once I scanned the image it came out so grainy but I ended up liking it better that way. You will soon see these images floating around St. Catharines to promote their new EP!
I never scan any of my works but I take photos of them and then upload but after making the handbill I scanned this sketch. The original is full colour in watercolour but I thought it looked sort of cheeky like this. I will upload the real image soon so you can see her true colours.

I used to do band photography
I'm Back
I used to be very fond of drawing my characters mostly male. Facial hair and sharp jaw lines just seemed so interesting. Curiously though, once I became involved in a relationship I began to be more interested in drawing females. Now droopy eyelashes, curbed stomachs and rosie cheeks are suit my fancy.
This first one is a piece I am 100% turning into a large scale painting. I have been putting off purchasing canvas until I begin work at my new job, in an art supply store (wahooooooooooo!) so I can use that good ol' employee discount on canvas.
"Oh I'm Doing Fine"
This lovely lady was made from a cheap bottle of pale pink, and pale blue paint. As well as ink and face paint crayons. This plump beauty was very fun to draw, especially her hair which I would love to have.
This really isn't a "piece" but I thought i'd put it up here just-cuz. I quickly doodled it while sitting under a Christmas tree.
I can't wait to actually get back into making tons of beautiful pictures. It's been too long i've been in this rut.

Let's not Talk About the Weather
"Let's not Talk About the Weather"
acrylic, string, book clippings, ink, fabric softener sheets on wood.
I have not been happy with a lot of the art I have been producing lately - that is because i have been producing NO ART lately. This may sound quite ironic, because I have just recently began and major in studio art. This is the first final piece I have created on my own time since moving.
This piece is being donated to an art auction, that will be held at Rise Above Vegan Bakery on Oct. 21st. in St. Catharines. So if you are around please come out to view the art by many talented people.

This and That
This is a poster design I made using paper, pens and a scanner while being chained to a desk in an office job:
These are pretty dresses I plan to change up once my sewing skills improve:
This is Nick and I playing tunes for our friends, photo taken by our friends at Slyfox Photography & Design.
